UMVIM Accident/Medical Team Insurance
TEAM INSURANCE IS STRONGLY ENCOURAGED AND REQUIRED BY SOME PROJECT SITES. TEAM REGISTRATION IS AUTOMATIC WITH THE PURCHASE OF INSURANCE.

International Insurance for Teams Serving outside of the U.S.:
UMVIM– WJ contracts with Mission Safe for an Accident and Medical Insurance Policy from IMG for teams serving internationally.. There are $25,000, $50,000, and $100,000 coverage options.
Domestic Insurance for Teams Serving within the U.S and U.S. Territories:
UMVIM-WJ has also contracted with AIG for medical and accident insurance policy with $50,000 coverage for domestic teams serving in the USA and US Territories..
Instructions for Applying for
UMVIM Accident/Medical Team Insurance
Select the TYPE and AMOUNT of insurance needed:
· International Teams: $25,000 $50,000 and $100,000 are the options are available.
(Person 80+ years of age are eligible for $20,0000 only coverage at the cost of $3.00/day.)
There is an addition cost for an Adventure Sports Rider if the following activities are undertaken for the purposes of recreation, an unusual experience or excitement. These activities are typically undertaken outdoors and involve a medium degree of risk (some examples might be: BMX; bobsledding; bungee jumping; canyoning; caving; hot air ballooning; jungle zip lining; parachuting; paragliding; parascending; rappelling; skydiving; spelunking; wildlife safaris; and windsurfing). See the costs below.
· Domestic (US and Conference) Teams: $50,000 for the basic insurance plan for Domestic Teams
2024 Rates:
· For Domestic Teams (serving within the U.S.):
$1.25 per person per day (administrative fee is included in the daily fee.)
DOMESTIC EXCEL WORKSHEET
· For International Teams serving outside the U.S.:
$25,000: $2.25 per person per day.
$50,000: $2.50 per person per day.
$100,000: $2.75 per person per day.
Additionally, there is a $15/person administration fee for each team member on the International Team.
Cost for International Terms Requesting the Insurance and the Adventure Sports Rider:
$25,000: $2.75 per person per day.
$50,000: $3.00 per person per day.
$100,000: $3.35 per person per day.
Additionally, there is a $15/person administration fee for each team member on the International Team.

Complete the International Group Insurance Application OR complete the Domestic Group Insurance Application (Excel Spread Sheet). .
Submit this spreadsheet even if you are a one-person team.
Pay for your insurance by PayPal or check.

Changes can be made up to one week prior to departure.
Changes for persons not traveling will be refunded the amount of insurance
