US/Haiti Volunteer Coordinator
General Responsibilities
· Create Haiti Volunteer website
· Communicate information and follow up with Annual Conference UMVIM Coordinators and team leaders who have registered a desire to volunteer in the affected areas of Haiti.
· Receive all telephone calls/emails that come into office to assist with the Haiti recovery efforts.
· Create Haiti Volunteer Packet that will be emailed within 3 days of initial contact and on website; and answer questions once packet is received.
· Keep accurate information on each team and calendar of scheduled teams/volunteers and coordinate this with the Haiti UMIM Coordinators by contacting them prior to booking volunteer teams.
· Send confirmation to team leader of schedule time as soon as deposit is received. Project funds should be received by team and sent at least 1 month prior to arrive to purchase materials.
· Contact team leader at least one week prior to departure to confirm arrival time, housing, and logistics in Haiti.
· Send thank you and/or Appreciation Certificates to team leader within one week of departure.
· Send thank you email with evaluation form to team within 2 week of return. Forward evaluation forms to Haiti Coordinators.
· Itinerate after 6 months.

· UMVIM team leader trained; team leader experience helpful.
· French-speaking; Creole helpful.
