Printable Instructions for completing on-line UMVIM registration and insurance 

 

NOTE: When you add an item to the shopping cart, DO NOT USE the "back" button on your browser to return to the page.  Instead, use the "Continue Shopping" button and you will cleanly return to the page to continue selecting your coverage.

   
  • Calculate the number of days your team will serve.  Be sure to include both the first and last day of travel to guarantee full coverage while serving.  Select your coverage.  (Example: July 2-11 = 10 days - not 9)

  • Fill in departure dates and return dates for the selected coverage and click "Add to Cart".

  • Under "Qty", enter the number of team members and then click "Update Cart".  The correct total for the number of team members will then be displayed.  

    • If you have team members traveling on different dates, click "Continue shopping"

    • If you have entered your registration fee information and your correct number of team members and dates, click "Checkout" and follow the onscreen instructions.  

    • NOTE - Even though the phrase "Shipping, tax, and handling costs will be calculated upon checkout." is included on the form, there are no additional fees charged. 

 
  •  After "Checkout" has been completed, you will be returned to a screen with important information. Please read it completely.

    • IF your browser sends you to the UMVIM home page instead of the page "UMVIM Insurance Follow-up Info", go to www.umvim.org/inscont.htm to receive final instructions.
