UMVIM SEJ Medical Fellowship exists to facilitate and encourage its members to witness to their faith in Jesus Christ as they use their God-given skill and gifts to provide volunteer health care services in areas of need throughout the world.
Membership is open to physicians, dentists, nurses, optometrists, pharmacists, allied health care personnel, lay persons who will support and participate in health care missions, clergy, churches, Sunday School classes, and other interested groups.
UMVIM Medical Fellowship provides you with the opportunity to share your knowledge and skills, witness to your faith through word and deed, and act as a mentor or support financially others who have heard the call to serve as a health care missioner.

Participate in annual gathering held each summer at Lake Junaluska, North Carolina. Share experiences, worship, learning, and Christian fellowship in a setting of beauty. Enjoy lectures and a variety of workshops which will help to equip you for medical mission work.
Receive assistance in the placement and preparation of volunteers for short-term medical mission services.

Membership includes parallel membership in the
national organization, United Methodist
Fellowship of Health Care Volunteers.
The UMVIM SEJ Medical Fellowship maintains a
scholarship program for participation in UMVIM
medical teams by medical students.
